Today Jacob and I got to go on a private tour of the Coca Cola plant in St. Cloud with Auntie and Uncle Mark.

1. Outside the plant
2. Empty bottles are pushed by air in a row over Skip and Jacob's head
3. The bottles are getting filled as they move from right to left of the picture
4. The red at the top are caps that file down the tube to be put on bottles after they are filled
5. Filled bottles are getting labels
6. One drum of syrup is used to fill about 27,000 CASES of pop (24 cans per case). This is about how many cases they make each day. They can switch to a different flavor in about 7 minutes.
7. Walls and walls of empty cans waiting to be filled. One can costs about 1.5 cents to make. The top of the can goes on after it is filled, and costs about 5 cents to make.
8. A wall of Coca Cola with the new Christmas cans-ready to ship, which will be in stores starting next week.
9. Jacob found his favorite pop!
10. Back at reception with a bottle of coke right of todays production line!

Celebrated Hannah's golden birthday tonight. Jacob got to ride with Hannah on her horse in her yard.

In the car today (I don't remember what we were talking about:
Me: "I like the way you think Jacob...you're a good guy!"
Jacob: "Thanks...you're a good woman!"

Yesterday, Jacob and I spent most of the day turning our house into a "Haunted House". Jacob was so excited! We moved furniture, made "scary" signs and decorations to tape on the wall, masks to wear, and arrows on the floor for dad to follow when he came home from work. There was a note on the door that said "You are now entering a haunted house". Nate played along, adding comments as he followed our arrows. Jacob and I put on our masks and jumped out from behind the couch, then ran under the dining room table, etc., "scaring" Nate as he walked through the house! For supper, Jacob and I made a special "spooky supper" of spider webs (plastic spider rings on spaghetti noodles), mummies (hot dogs wrapped in bread dough), witches brew (juice), and bloody eyeballs for dessert (cherry cobbler). Tonight we had a play date with Trenton, and made spider cupcakes!

Driving in the car, Jacob put on his swim goggles in the back seat, and started telling me about how he could see the future with his goggles on. A few minutes later, he said, "Mom, I'll tell you something if you don't tell dad...I can't really see the future with these goggles. The truth is I just peek ahead on the next page on the calendar every once in a while, and then I know the future. I just tell you what it is with my goggles!"

Nate and Jacob played "photographer" tonight while I was at a meeting. Notice the various backgrounds Jacob set up behind the chairs.

Jacob is busy every day making things for people. Nate and I both love getting little notes taped to the wall to find, or just seeing what Jacob comes up with to make. He likes making cards for people, and inventing art projects.

This is the roller coaster Jacob and I made this morning in his room. I like just hanging out at home doing things with him. He comes up with some fun ideas.
